The newest build of this application includes a bug fix for the floating button display inherent with the 1.1.3 firmware of Apple.Waves for iPhone video demo
As an added disclaimer, the developer mentioned that the new bug fixes have yet to be tested with the latest 1.1.3 firmware. However, should you still encounter the floating button bug, you always have the option to press the "wave" button found on the bottom left of the screen to enable the application.

Guitarist: Turn your iPhone into a virtual guitarWith the way things are going, it seems that MooTheCow is intent on turning the Apple iPhone into a one-man band. The developer's recently announced the release of Guitarist, a homebrew application that allows you to handle your iPhone or iPod Touch like a real guitar.

iPhone firmware 2.0 jailbreakiPhone Dev Team have announced that they have jailbreaked the unreleased iPhone firmware 2.0 enabling full read/write filesystem access and allowing the installation of the Installer.app.
Installer.app (which shows up as simply "Installer" on the iPhone) is an iPhone application that catalogs and installs other iPhone binaries.

Apple Releases iPhone / iPod Touch SDKApple, today, announced that the same APIs and tools that are used internally to develop iPhone applications will be released as a free download to developers.
Various new iPhone applications were demoed during today's event, including an AOL IM client and the games Spore from EA and SEGA's Super Monkey Ball, both utilizing the iPhone's accelerometer.

Although the emulated version is not the same as having an real SNES gaming joypad the gameplay is reported to by smooth with frameskip enabled and the emulator supports portrait and landscape mode.
